1. Productivity of land 

      let us assume that a former spend rupees 1000 in his land and gets an yield of 20 bags of paddy. Each bag is sold for Rs 100/ .so the value of output is Rs2000/.

                          productivity of land =2000\1000*100=200%  

      let us assume that the former uses good seeds, more fertilizers and better method of cultivation for this he spend a total amount of Rs.1500/-. He gets an yield of 40 bags and sells them for Rs 4000.

                          now, the productivity =4000\1500*100=267%

now, we say that the productivity of land has increased from200%to 267%

2.Productivity of men. 

     A pot maker produces 40 pots per day. By using better method he produces 60 pots per day .so we say that the productivity of the pot maker has increased by 50%.

3.Productivity of machine 

In a drilling machine 60 flanges are drilled per day. By introducing a drill jug ,it is possible to drill 120 flanges per day in the same drilling machine. now the productivity of machine has increased by 100%,
